Егор Гайдар

Отиде си един велик човек. Съременниците му бяха несправедливи към него - с великите най-често е така - но тепърва историята ще го оценява.

По странно съвпадение, тия дни препрочитах неговите "Государство и эволюция", "Экономические реформы и йерархические структуры" и "Аномалии экономического роста" и отново си дадох сметка за величието на делото му - благодарение на него и на Елцин СССР, респ. бившите му републики се разминаха с мащабни социални сътресения и вероятно гражданска война. А Съветският съюз беше доста по-голям от Югославия, тъй че картинката би била... бррр!

Освен голям държавник и политик, Гайдар беше брилянтен икономист - изследовател и автор, който имаше и таланта да пише завладяващо (но не за сметка на научната строгост). Книгите му ще останат основополагащи за всеки, занимаващ се с изучаването на социалистическата икономика и с теорията на прехода.

У нас нямахме шанса да имаме подобна фигура. Може би не е (мал)шанс, а закономерност :-(

Синята коалиция: А сега накъде (част I)

Продължава да не ми се пише. Защото не виждам смисъл. Политиката в тези месеци е важна, но нищо смислено не мога да напиша. Неприятно ми е да повтарям тези и внушения от анализи и коментари на други блогъри и автори в медии. Защото нещата са толкова ясни, че няма смисъл вече да се говорят - тези, които ги разбират, нямат нужда да им бъдат повтаряни; тези, които не ги разбират, няма да ги разберат и сто пъти на ден да им ги повтаряш.

Доста гнусно усещане. За екзистенциална безсмисленост...-

Мисля, че нещо подобно е изпитвал Батe Бойко, изказвайки прочутата си оценка за калпавия човешкия материал. И не му вярвам (не мисля, че разумен човек би му), че не бил казал това, което е каза, извадили му го били от контекста. Глупости! Точно това е истината, която той само е артикулирал - с присъщата си очарователна първичност.

Но въпреки мат'ряла може би има смисъл да пиша за бъдещето - каквото ми се иска да бъде. Това, което се случи, не ми харесва, а и обективно не е добро: Синята коалиция постигна едноцифрен резултат. Не ми е пълна неочакваност (имаше индикации за такъв вариант), но ми се искаше и се надявах, че ще се реализира максималният. Но не се. И точка. Протяжните анализи (заприличващи на оправдания) са контрапродуктивни.

Важният въпрос е един единствен: А сега накъде? Струва ми се, че малцина си го задават, а още по-малко предлагат възможни отговори. Аз имам и е добре да ги кажа:

1. Добре е, че бат Бойко не направи коалиция със Сините. Тоест за него не е добре, но за Синята коалиция е най-доброто. Защото инак биха били младши партньор, който отгоре на всичко непрекъснато би бил шантажиран (ако поиска друго конкретно решение) с конюнктурно привлечени гласове от Яне и Волен. Мнозинството хора все още не оценяват играческите умения на ББ. Той научи много от прислугването на дедо Тодор и на царя. Не оценяват едно от най-сериозните му предимства - умението да се учи от по-добрите, при това без да го показва. Познавам само още един човек с такова великолепно умение - да "купува" акъл от други, без да създава впечатление, че прави това (сиреч без да става ясно, че нищо не разбира от даден предмет).По-точно познавах го. Щото Илия Павлов вече отиде на друго място. А беше страхотен в това си умение...

После ще продължа. Щото отивам на работа. Дотогава нормалният "мат'рял" моля да поразмишлява върху тази ми теза - която противоречи на официално заявените от Мартин и Костов позиции. Харесвам и високо оценявам и двамата, обаче мисля, че в оценката си за бат'Бойковото решение за правителство на малцинството бъркат.

Michael F. Cohen, John R. Wallace - Radiosity and Realistic Image Synthesis (The Morgan Kaufmann Series in Computer Graphics)

The first comprehensive book written about Radiosity. Features applications from the fields of computer graphics, architecture, industrial design, and related computer aided design technologies. Radiosity is a computer graphics technique which makes use a global illumination model to accurately represent the inter-reflection of light between surfaces. The technique produces view-independent results, so that most of the work is complete before viewing parameters are selected. Most other image generation techniques make use of local illumination models and give faster image generation times.
